GRSE to hold Twin Keel Laying of ASW-SWC on 31st December

‘INS Arnala’, the first of 8 ASW-SWC Project, being built by GRSE for the Indian Navy was launched on 20 Dec 22 at M/s L&T, Kattupalli, Chennai

Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) will hold key launching of two Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Watercraft (ASW-SWC) on 31st December as part of 16 such vessels that are being built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Cochin Shipyard for the Indian Navy.

These Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Watercraft (ASW-SWC) that will undertake Anti-Submarine Warfare duties, subsurface surveillance, mine laying operations, defense against intruding aircraft and search and rescue.
