Indian Army to procure 90 RCWS with 12.7mm NSVT for Kalyani M4

The Indian Army has released Acceptance of Necessity (AoN) for the purchase of 90 Remotely Controlled Weapons Station (RCWS) armed with 12.7 millimeters Machine Gun under Buy Indian category and Fast Track procedure which is likely to be integrated on the Kalyani M4.

It must weigh less than 185 kilograms without weapon, a multi-function display unit, a continuous optical zoom f20x 2.5 kilometers detection range and identification range of 1 kilometer and the system should also have a video tracker capable of Auto tracking targets.
