Garuda Aerospace has showcased a 1:1 scale model of its new ‘Vajra’ Stealth Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) at the ongoing Defence Expo 2022 in Gujarat.

The company has said that all the technology for the program will be developed in-house and a working prototype will be fabricated in near future.

It will be powered by HAL developed PTA E7 turbo jet engine while Lockheed Martin Canada CDL systems will be providing Advanced UAS software solutions for the program.

The Vajra Stealth UCAV will have an endurance of 6 hours and it can carry small drone launched Munitions of 5kg in its Internal Weapons Bay, it will be equipped with High Resolution Camera to capture day and night images with clear vision, it has an official range of 160km.
