4x4 Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) designed and manufactured by TATA Advanced Systems Limited (TASL)

The Indian Army has inducted the TATA Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) into its Northern Command.

The 4x4 Mine Protected Vehicle (MPV) is fitted with a heavy machine gun on the roof and the vehicle provides STANAG Level 4 Ballistic Protection and features Mini Plug-in Optronic Payload, Electro Optical System and Advanced Navigation System.

It has a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour and can carry a maximum payload of 2,000 kilograms.
