IgMp has
learnt that the Agni-V nuclear capable Inter Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM)
has reached a two-digit production scale in the last few years and has been
deployed and activated by the Strategic Forces Command at North-East Frontier

The Agni-VI ICBM will not be coming anytime soon and the DRDO plans to develop and integrate latest technology like Multiple Independent Re-entry Vehicle (MiRV) capability in future batch upgrades of the Agni-V ICBM coming in the next few years.
As per DRDO sources, the K5 SLBM will be tested this year and while the DRDO had already got principal approvals for the development of the 8,000 kilometers range K6 SLBM but it might take at least four more years to start developmental trials.
