When Indian soldiers were fighting Chinese soldiers, Rahul Gandhi was meeting Chinese ambassador- Rajnath Singh
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hits back at Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday over his allegations on China-Pak relations

Countering former Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s allegations on China-Pakistan relations, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday showed him the mirror, saying there were two major illegal occupations of the international arena during the Nehru and Indira governments. On February 4, Rajnath Singh had arrived at Dasuya in Hoshiarpur district to campaign for BJP candidate Raghunath Singh Rana.

He was accompanied by Union Minister Som Prakash, senior leader Avinash Rai Khanna and other leaders. During this, Rajnath Singh said that there were some such powers that whoever came to mind used to speak. He said he would apologise to congress friends, but he was deeply hurt by what Rahul Gandhi said in Parliament. In Parliament, Rahul Gandhi had accused the BJP-led central government, saying that due to the wrong foreign policies of the government, China and Pakistan came closer.

On this, Rajnath Singh said that our Indian soldiers made their supreme sacrifice in the Galwan valley clashes with the Chinese army. Even after China’s efforts, our soldiers gave up their lives and did not allow China to occupy even an inch of land in India. Rajnath hit back, saying that, Rahul had said that India lost more soldiers, while only four Chinese soldiers died in the Galwan Valley. Would you believe China’s official newspaper, the Global Times, but a leading Australian newspaper reported that China reported 38-40 casualties? “When our jawans were looking at Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley, Rahul Gandhi was busy meeting the Chinese ambassador in New Delhi.”
