HAL Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) sported in Indian Army Livery

After witnessing Limited Series Production (LSP) Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) helicopter in Tipnis grey for Indian Air Force (IAF), Recently LCH in Army Livery was sported taking its flight from HAL Helicopter division. HAL has started manufacturing 15 LSP LCH out of which 10 are for IAF and 5 are for Army.

LCH ZF-4831 for IAF was also showcased at Aero India 2021 earlier this year. LCH IA-6101 is the first of the 5 LCP LCH Helicopters that will be handed over to the Indian Army while HAL waits for the first batch of production orders for the same.

The IAF has put forward a requirement for 65 LCH and the Army for 114 helicopters.
