Solar Industries has showcased its Nagastra-1 Fixed-wing Loitering Munition at the Defence Expo 2022 which has recently cleared user trials with the Indian Army and is all set to be inducted very soon.

Officials have said that it is a hand-launched loitering munition that can carry a 1.5 kilograms warhead to a range of 15 kilometers and is highly effective in tactical battlefield area.

Both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force have recently expressed their interests in acquiring loitering munitions for their respective needs and operations and has batted for increasing usage of loitering munitions and drones in 21stcentury modern warfare.
