BDL to sign a contract for 500 SAAW and Akash Prime order : Akash NG manufacturing facility ready

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has signed a production cum development partner contract for the VL-SRSAM for Indian Navy which means that Bharat Dynamics Limited will be the sole production agency of VL-SRSAM.

The deal for Akash Prime missiles for the Indian Air Force is at contract stage and will soon be awarded by Ministry of Defense.

Bharat Dynamics has also established the manufacturing facility of Akash-NG missiles it is also expecting to sign a combined production order for 500 Smart Anti-Airfield Weapon from the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy.

Bharat Dynamics Ltd has also received a project sanction order from Indian Navy for development and manufacturing of Mobile Target Emulator and a prototype is being developed currently.
