Indian Armed Forces future indigenous Armed Drones Options (Archer Short Range UAV and Rustom-II Medium Altitude Long Endurance UAV)

Munition India Limited (MIL) has started a new project to develop a drone launched smart ammunition under MAKE-I category under this project.

Three technologies will be developed that includes the ammunition delivery system and its homing and guidance system.

Its launcher to drop the ammunition and a Loitering Munition.

The first prototype will be ready in 36 months after signing the contract and once ready it will be integrated on all indigenous armed drones.

Archer SR UAV and Rustom-II MALE UAV may use these ammunitions on their wingtips as armed UAV role.
