India has issued another
NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) warning for the launch of an experimental flight
vehicle for the period between 1st June to 3rd June and the designated range
for the NOTAM is for 330 kilometers which could be the first
test of Rudram-2 Anti-Radiation Missile that has a range of 300 kilometers that can be used for destroying
heavy fortified military
installations and facilities from along standoff ranges.
DRDO has been fabricating Rudram-2 missiles for fresh trials of the missiles. Rudram-2 (350-km range) is air to ground missile system that is designed for suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD) from longer stand-off ranges to allow IAF strike aircraft to carry out their bombing missions without hindrance.
