DRDO to increase range of air to air and surface to air missiles; 1000km radar under making : DRDO Chief

Dr. Sateesh Reddy has said that the DRDO is increasing the range of air-to-air
missiles beyond 150 kilometers and surface-to-air missiles beyond 250
kilometers.
He also said the AESA radars for fighter jets is ending its final testing and long-range radars of 1,000 kilometers are next on the plan for development.
The DRDO is confident that it will definitely meet timelines on the AMCA and Tejas Mark-II program while on ground fighting equipment the DRDO is looking for partners for FICV and FRCV program.
He also added that India is getting a lot of inquiries for export of the Akash surface to surface missiles torpedoes and the ATAGS.
He also pointed out that the DRDO is working to integrate the indigenous Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) system that will undergo trials at sea.
