Over 1,000 defence & fire personnel honoured for gallantry, service for Independence Day 2025

Source : The Economic Times The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced that 1,090 personnel from various departments, including police, fire services, Home Guard and Civil Defence (HG&CD), and Correctional Services, will receive Gallantry and Service Medals. These honors are awarded on the occasion of Independence Day 2025, recognizing their exemplary service and acts of bravery.
