DRDO all set to test LR-LACM; Naval version priority followed by Air and Ground based versions

The DRDO had given preference to the development of the naval variant of the Long-Range Land Attack Cruise Missile (LR-LACM) and an Indian Navy team is monitoring the progress of the 1,500 kilometers range LR-LACM program that will start development trials from a ground-based makeshift launcher early this year and after a couple of tests, it will be integrated with the naval warships and launched from the BrahMos Universal Launcher module.
An Air-launched variant will also be developed that can be launched from the center pilon of the Sukhoi Su-30.
The development of a truck-mounted variant and submarine-launched variant is also in the pipeline.
