Ahead of today’s Press Conference by the Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshall V R Chaudhary, a video was released by the IAF to the media at the conference which showed combat capabilities of the Indian Air Force and in a big surprise the video shows an Astra Mark II Beyond Visual Range Air-to-Air Missile (BVRAAM) launched from an ejector launcher of an IAF Sukhoi Su-30 fighter jet.
The footage is from the Free Fall trajectory testing that was conducted few months ago to predict release trajectories of the Astra Mark II BVRAAM while the first reak test firing is expected in early 2023.
