IAF issues RFI for Enhanced Capability Global Navigation Satellite System (ECGNSS) Jammers

The Ministry of Defence has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for 24 Enhanced Capability Global Navigation Satellite System (ECGNSS) Jammer and associated equipment. The Enhanced Capability Global Navigation Satellite System (ECGNSS) Jammer is intended to protect Indian assets from Satellite Navigation System Receiver-based guided weapon/ missile/drone/ small UAV attacks by jamming and spoofing (in space & time domain) the on-board GNSS thereby degrading their navigation accuracy.
The entire system should be vehicle-mounted mobile and transportable by road and air. The system design should include modularity for quick deployment/ de-induction. The last date submits bids is 10 Aug 2022.
