India finds F/A-18 SH Block-III perfect for Ski Jump enabled Indian Navy Aircraft Carriers

At a time
when two Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet Block-III aircraft are all set to arrive in
India for capability demonstration, officials have said that India has already
conducted more than 150 simulation studies and ski jump tests to find out
whether the F/A-18 Super Hornet Block-III is capable of operating from the two existing aircraft carriers of the Indian Navy.

Boeing has said that the F/A-18 Super Hornet Block-III will exceed the performance requirements of the Indian Navy and its advanced networking and open architecture design will also enable it to work jointly with the Navy's P8I Anti-submarine Long Range Maritime aircraft.
Earlier French Dassault Rafale Marine has already demonstrated its ski jump capability in INS Hansa Shore Based Test facility in Goa.
